Finally got the socket done.


It weighs about half a kilo.
That's one pound for you guys at the other side.
Including the copper contacts.
Machined out of a solid copper bar.
Just to imagine the size, I put my mobile next to it.
It is NOT a toy or scaled version.
No.
And the electronics come down to this.
Almost nothing.
